Where The Wild Things Are is a practice committed to quality, client centered care that reflects the values of simplicity, equity, and accessibility. We utilize a sanctuary model to support trauma informed talk, play, or art therapy techniques. Feminist theory guides our ability to change our internal narrative by looking closely at the words and symbols we use inside ourself, and understanding where and when we internalized them along our path.

Often the monthly bill for health insurance can leave us without the funds to pay the required co-pays or do not cover the care we actually need. In this time of economic inflation and job insecurity, too many of use cannot access services that are vital to our survival.
All client's fees for services are determined utilizing a sliding scale based on income. This sliding scale has been thoughtfully researched and developed based on the average income of a Baltimore City School teacher - an often under paid and under supported population.

Example Fees:

Lowest -
$30,000 yearly household income or less = $30 session fee.

Average -
$75,000 yearly household income = 75$ session fee.

Highest -
$200,000 yearly household income or more = $200 session fee.
